2×2 Decision Tool
I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts this week, How to be Awesome at Your Job, and Pete’s guest (Janice Fraser, Episode 942) was talking about her methods for facilitating decisions within groups. She mentioned the widely known 2×2 physical sorting grid, but her spin on it changed the “No” at the bottom left to “Maybe”. It seemed to me that it would be a fun interaction for learners to use digitally, rather than physical sticky notes on a whiteboard. I wanted the learners to be able to type in their own thoughts, and then to have feedback given not by points, but rather by personal interpretation. Thinking about how to build the interaction took longer than the actual build (took about 30 min. to create the functionality).
