I recently listened to the Audible version of this timeless classic (it only takes an hour). Fantastic book! I could easily look back over my career, and identify with each of the 4 characters. The one that resonated the most with me was Haw, the little human that resisted change at first, but embraced it fairly soon, and learned to laugh at himself. These days we could all use a little reminder to lighten up, be more nimble, and adapt.
It also helped me empathize with participants of the learning I develop at my work. Change can be so scary, especially when it’s different than “the way we do things around here.” However, the only thing in life you can count on is change.
